Of course, Windows 10 1903 is also available through manual download. Microsoft says users going through Windows Update Assistant should avoid the May 2019 Update until their update the Qualcomm Wi-Fi driver. “Workaround: Before updating to Windows 10, version 1903, you will need to download and install an updated Wi-Fi driver from your device manufacturer (OEM). Note We recommend that you do not attempt to manually update using the Update now button or the Media Creation Tool until a new driver has been installed and the Windows 10, version 1903 feature update has been automatically offered to you.” We think using the term workaround is a bit of a stretch as it seems the only way to avoid problems with the driver is to update it.
