While remote has become a work choice for millions of people, the shift to creating a virtual office is anything but efficient. Zoom’s new virtual networking tools aim to streamline this process and overcome the challenges of seamlessly integrating a virtual office. Speaking about its plans with virtual networking, Zoom representative Robin Bunevich says the following: “With Zoom Events, organizations can foster a tighter sense of community between attendees and hosts, enabling them to connect, learn from one another, and expand their professional networks. Over the next several months, we’ll continue to add even more networking tools to help your attendees make meaningful and productive contacts within their industry.”

With Zoom Events, users can enable or disable networking on a single event. When enabled, the networking will give participants tools to create and edit a profile, viewer profiles, and manage “My Connections”. More tools include being able to communicate across other channels before, during, and after an event. Following an event, the participants can see their active and pending connections, create a new event to host, and build event directories. Zoom Events is now available for hosts and attendees on the platform. Tip of the day: The Windows Sandbox gives Windows 10/11 Pro and Enterprise users a safe space to run suspicious apps without risk. In out tutorial we show you how to enable the Windows Sandbox feature.
